The Product Foundations team owns core platform capabilities used across the product: reporting and analytics, document management, training, calendars, communications, and access to organizational data. It serves both administrators and employees.

The team builds experiences that are intuitive, reliable, and scalable, so customers can find information, finish critical workflows, and run their organizations. It focuses on usability, self-service, and removing customer friction, working where user experience, platform capabilities, and operational efficiency meet.

Your work will have wide impact across the platform. You will balance the stability and performance of mission-critical features with chances to add new solutions. The team led the company's first AI-powered product experience.

Responsibilities

• Own large-scope projects independently, from first discovery through launch, with a focus on results and customer impact.
• Work with a cross-functional team to solve customer problems.
• Improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of existing systems.
• Add capabilities to the high-volume, fault-tolerant processing infrastructure.
• Strengthen testing, monitoring, and continuous deployment infrastructure.
• Keep extremely sensitive data separated and secure.
• Raise the bar for engineering through technical leadership, knowledge sharing, and mentoring.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional, hands-on experience.
• Strong command of modern server-side languages. Golang is a plus but not required.
• Proficiency with SQL.
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
• Experience supporting and mentoring other engineers, acting as a force multiplier.
• Experience working closely with designers and product managers.
• You have built, deployed, and maintained large-scale, complex applications.
• You are self-driven, work well with others to clear blockers, and keep learning new technologies.
• You focus on solutions and customer experience over any specific tool or framework.
• Good judgment: you analyze problems and their implications, spot patterns, understand risks, plan mitigations, and own the outcome.
• Resourcefulness: you find a way forward under constraints and improve what you have, whether building something new or refining something existing.

Conditions

Hybrid role based in the New York City office.

Base wage is targeted at $167,500.00 to $235,000.00 per year.

Actual pay depends on skill set, relevant experience, and work location. Ranges in other locations may differ based on local labor costs.
