Description

Working language is English.

You join an international engineering group that builds device intelligence, fraud prevention and mobile technology for the company.

The Agile team pairs mobile SDK work with machine learning, real-time systems and data analytics, and places weight on new ideas, shared knowledge and steady improvement.

The SDK you work on runs on millions of devices worldwide and supports fraud prevention and digital identity for businesses.

This is an SDK engineering role centred on Java (Android) and Objective-C (iOS), not app UI work.

Responsibilities

  • Build, test and maintain high-quality SDK components for Android and iOS.
  • Improve existing Java and Objective-C code and grow your skills on both platforms over time.
  • Work on native C/C++ parts, JNI bindings and Kotlin/Swift integration layers.
  • Shape SDK APIs that are reliable, secure and backward compatible so customers can integrate easily.
  • Track down hard problems involving mobile platforms, performance, concurrency, memory and networking.
  • Help with automated testing, continuous integration, code reviews and technical documentation.
  • Work with engineers in other countries to ship scalable, dependable software.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional software development, with strong mobile engineering experience.
  • Advanced skill in Android (Java) or iOS (Objective-C), and willingness to learn the other platform.
  • Good grasp of mobile architecture, application lifecycles, APIs, performance tuning and debugging.
  • Experience building, integrating or maintaining mobile SDKs, libraries or frameworks is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Kotlin, Swift, C/C++, JNI or Android NDK is an advantage.
  • Hands-on work with automated testing, CI/CD, Git, multithreading and networking basics.
  • Strong analysis, problem solving and communication, and comfort working in international Agile teams.

Conditions

Hybrid setup: three days per week in the Merseburg office.

Base pay for the primary location, Germany: €59,300 - €98,600.

Base pay for home-based work in Sweden, or in Lulea: kr501,000 - kr836,600.

Base pay for Stockholm, Sweden: kr526,100 - kr878,400.

The company is committed to a fair, accessible hiring process and welcomes requests for accommodation.

Benefits

  • Country-specific benefits are offered and vary by location.
  • Collaboration with engineers and technology experts across international teams.
  • Work on technology used on millions of mobile devices to help businesses fight fraud.
  • Room to grow your skills across Android, iOS and emerging mobile technologies.
  • An Agile, technology-driven team that values teamwork, ongoing learning and fresh ideas.
