The company runs SEO for a car rental and mobility business in 100+ markets and 30+ languages, where the difficulty is applying the same standard consistently rather than knowing what to do.
The team is based in Pullach near Munich and is hiring a Senior Technical SEO Automation Engineer (m/f/d) to apply automation to organic search, where building automation is the core of the job, including GenAI and agentic workflows.
The company is a leading mobility provider with €4.3 billion in revenue and around 9,000 employees worldwide.
Its platform covers car rental, car sharing, taxi, ride and chauffeur services, and car subscriptions, with a fleet of 360,000 vehicles, 4,000 cooperation partners and around 5 million drivers worldwide.
Together with franchise partners, it operates in 100+ countries across 2,000 rental stations.
Responsibilities
Build and own the automation that runs across all markets and languages with no manual steps, including content pipelines, reporting, QA frameworks and monitoring tools the whole team can use.
Connect the SEO stack, including GSC, GA4, BigQuery, CMS platforms and third-party SEO tools, since most of the value comes from linking the data together.
Apply GenAI and agentic workflows to repetitive analysis currently done by hand in every market, such as automated content QA, keyword clustering, intent classification and structured-data deployment.
Make hard-to-see problems visible: crawl budget and log file analysis, indexability and rendering diagnostics, tracking gaps, and alerts for failures that happen quietly across many markets.
Work with Technical, Content, Local, Data and Brand pillar leads to decide what to automate, and with Engineering, InfoSec and Legal on integration and compliance, including data privacy and the EU AI Act.
Document and hand over your systems so they keep running after you move on.
Write production code and ship working systems in a hands-on engineering role. It is not a route into the core engineering organization or a strategy role, and you are measured on what is built and running. You work alongside vendors, but the build is yours.
Requirements
Several years of experience combining technical or data-heavy SEO with hands-on automation or software development, including automation you have shipped, run in production and seen used.
You have worked with APIs and automation tools such as n8n, Make.com, webhooks or custom scripts.
You understand how the web works, including HTTP, crawling, rendering, indexability, caching and CDNs.
Solid SEO knowledge across on-page and technical work, plus enough off-page and content knowledge to judge what is worth automating.
You use AI coding tools daily and can tell working output from output that only looks correct.
Fluent English, and you can make technical work clear to colleagues without a technical background.
Conditions
Based in Pullach near Munich, in a hybrid working model with flexible hours.
Benefits
Discounts on the company's rental, car sharing, ride and subscription services, plus vehicle leasing offers and partner deals for travel, tech, fashion and more.

A monthly mobility allowance.
Contributions to your retirement plan and capital-forming benefits.
A modern on-site gym, leisure options including a gaming area and the company choir, and a high-quality employee restaurant.
30 days of vacation.
