Description

The company is a healthcare business working across Innovative Medicine and MedTech, and this role sits within its Orthopaedics team, which works on joint reconstruction, trauma and craniomaxillofacial, sports, extremities and foot and ankle, spine, and robotics and digital surgery. Orthopaedics is being separated into a standalone company called DePuy Synthes, expected to take 18 to 24 months and subject to legal requirements, works council and employee representative consultation, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions. If you accept, and the transaction closes, you would likely become a DePuy Synthes employee governed by its policies, programs and benefit plans, with any planned changes communicated at an appropriate time and after any required consultation.

The role is in the Project and Program Management group, within R&D project management, and is a hybrid position in West Chester, Pennsylvania. It focuses mainly on the Trauma business, where the team develops orthopedic devices such as implants, instruments and other hardware. The work is hands-on and requires an understanding of the medical device development process, so you can link technical and business goals and judge how technical choices affect the project.

The team serves more than 6 million people each year and works to deliver clinical and economic value to surgeons and health systems. The company is developing smarter, less invasive and more personalized treatments.

  • Escalate significant risks and issues, with an assessment of likely impact and recommended actions.
  • Ensure work complies with company policies, procedures, quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
