Description

The company runs a platform that combines technology, data and fund administration for private markets, serving 2,300+ GPs, with $300B+ under administration and 700,000+ LPs on the platform.

Founded in 2014, the company is founder-led, has raised $350M+ in funding and employs 1,000+ people. It has an in-house AI platform called JunieAI that is built into its workflows.

The team values ownership, urgency, open debate, deep collaboration and transparent feedback.

This senior role sits in the Program Management Office (PMO). You will run the most complex cross-functional software programs from planning through release, working with engineering, product, design, QA, platform and operations leaders to plan, unblock dependencies and hit customer commitments.

AI is a major part of this role. You will build AI workflows for the PMO and set the bar for how the team uses AI.

Responsibilities

  • Lead program management for the company's most complex multi-team software initiatives, building plans with engineering, product, design, QA, platform and operations, resolving cross-team dependencies and driving work through each stage of the software development lifecycle.
  • Act as a senior link between engineering and product management, turning unclear, high-stakes problems into a concrete plan with milestones, owners and dependencies, including third-party teams where needed.
  • Set up and improve the execution framework for your programs, covering agile or scrum ceremonies, artifacts and governance cadence, and feed those improvements back into PMO-wide standards.
  • Deliver senior-level status reports, spot and reduce risk early, and apply change management when scope or timelines move.
  • Help shape PMO governance by defining metrics, standardizing processes and tracking adherence across the program management team.
  • Build multi-step AI workflows, such as Cowork skills and plugins and scripted Jira and Confluence extraction and analysis, that replace manual PMO work. Make them reusable by other PMs and TPMs.
  • Keep a working library of reusable prompts, templates and automations for frequent PMO tasks such as status reports, metrics dashboards and roadmap artifacts, and share them across the team.
  • Define what good looks like before automating a workflow, add validation steps, and own the accuracy of what you ship. You can delegate tasks but not accountability.
  • Mentor TPMs and PMs on day-to-day program management, PMO goals and AI skills, and help with roadmap planning and anticipating delivery problems.
  • Make sure program documentation, status reporting and delivery metrics stay current on a regular, reliable schedule.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15+ years of total industry experience, with 8+ years of technical program management on large, complex programs across multiple cross-functional teams.
  • A deep grasp of the product development lifecycle and technical program management at scale, with a record of taking programs from concept to release across several teams.
  • AI fluency at the Workflow Orchestrator level: you have designed and deployed at least one multi-step AI or Cowork workflow that spans multiple tools or data sources and can point to a specific, measurable gain in time or quality. Personal, ad hoc prompting alone does not count.
  • Able to maintain a library of reusable prompts, skills or workflow templates, and to set up Cowork skills, connectors and plugins without engineering help.
  • Hands-on experience automating program management with AI, such as scripting or using AI tools to pull and analyze Jira and Confluence data, generate status reports, or build prompt libraries and templates that others use.
  • Able to set quality criteria before deploying AI-assisted workflows, check outputs and take responsibility for the accuracy of what you automate.
  • Experience with project management tools such as the Atlassian suite, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet or equivalent, and with Agile and Scrum. Working knowledge of SAFe is a plus.
  • Experience working with product management, design and UX, customer success, customer support, and other teams such as sales, marketing and legal as needed.
  • Experience with program governance, including budgeting, vendor management, compliance and metrics.
  • PMI PMP, ACP or CSM certification is a plus.
  • Experience with fintech platforms, AWS, Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Self-driven and adaptable, comfortable coaching peers, and able to work with colleagues across geographies and time zones.
