Description

The company is the company, which is changing how legal and professional services work by combining agentic AI, an enterprise-grade platform, and deep domain knowledge.

The company has strong product-market fit and well-regarded investors, is scaling quickly, and is defining a new category as it goes.

The team moves fast, takes ownership, stays close to customers, and holds a high bar. Its values are Decisiveness, Simplicity, and Job's Not Finished, meaning it acts on sound judgment without perfect information, believes simplicity scales, and is never satisfied with its current state.

The role is to own the embedded experiences that bring the company into the tools lawyers already use, starting with the Word Add-In and then extending to other places where legal work happens. You will help a product that customers already rely on reach many more lawyers, make the agents useful for complex drafting and review, and bring the company to new surfaces.

The ideal person has built a product people use every day and knows that adoption depends on meeting users inside the tools and habits they already have. You combine a clear view of what AI makes possible with a close understanding of how users actually work.

Responsibilities

  • Set the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the company for Word and the other drafting tools lawyers use, and take each problem from discovery through launch and iteration.
  • Build purpose-built tools for drafting, reviewing, proofreading, and finalizing documents, to the standard lawyers need before they send them.
  • Increase daily use by improving onboarding, activation, entry points, and repeat use, so occasional users start reaching for the company every day.
  • Work with Design, Engineering, and the AI platform teams to make the experience fast, polished, and reliable, and define what good AI output looks like in a document.
  • Spend real time with lawyers at law firms and in-house teams, then use those insights and usage data to make clear product decisions.
  • Work with adjacent product teams, PMM, and GTM so the company for Word fits the wider platform and resonates with customers.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of product management experience, including owning a user-facing product that people use daily, in B2B or B2C.
  • A record of building habits, with the ability to explain how you drove adoption of a new workflow, what made it last, and how you changed course when users behaved differently than expected.
  • Strong product and design judgment, a high standard for craft, and the ability to explain why one interaction works better than another.
  • Experience owning adoption or engagement goals and using customer insight and data to shape strategy.
  • Experience both scaling an established product and launching a new one.
  • High agency in fast-moving, unclear situations, with the ability to form a view quickly and act on it.
  • Clear, structured communication and the ability to influence Engineering, Design, GTM, and executives.
  • Preferred: experience building AI-powered products, including defining and measuring the quality of AI output.
  • Preferred: startup or 0→1 experience, ideally at a high-growth tech company.
  • Preferred: experience building document editing, productivity, or collaboration tools.
