Description

The company runs a shipping software and API platform that over 100,000 eCommerce merchants use to compare couriers, automate fulfilment and handle cross-border shipping, taxes and duties.

It is a Shopify Certified Technology Provider and an eBay preferred fulfilment partner, and it is an Amazon preferred multi-channel integrator. It was named G2 category leader in April 2026 and offers more than 550 courier services worldwide.

Beyond the platform, the company designs and runs custom end-to-end shipping projects for clients, combining global freight forwarding and last-mile delivery through several partners.

The company wants an experienced project manager with solid knowledge of ecommerce shipping, warehousing and fulfilment to oversee delivery of these client projects. The same person owns part of the company product, defining solutions that fit the product vision and strategy and working with design and engineering to keep creating value for users.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and roadmap for two squads: Finance (payments, billing, invoicing, fees and reconciliation) and Account Management (account lifecycle, verification, fraud and risk). Tie every roadmap item to a measurable business outcome.
  • Lower the cost of taking payments. Choose the payment method mix (for example Pay by Bank), set up multi-currency settlement, migrate payment providers across regions, and find and remove the root causes of payment failures, disputes and chargebacks.
  • Grow revenue from the finance area through fee and pricing structures, processing fees on chargeable items, reconciling tax and duty adjustments, and keeping VAT and GST invoicing accurate in every region served.
  • Own the full account lifecycle, from sign-up and verification through user roles, team permissions, account settings and closure, so genuine customers move through easily and bad actors do not.
  • Define and evolve fraud and risk controls across onboarding and payments, balancing loss prevention against conversion, working closely with Finance, Customer Experience and Compliance.
  • Work with Finance and Accounting, Customer Experience, Sales, Legal and Engineering to build scalable solutions. Act as the single product contact for anything involving money or accounts.
  • Set, track and report success metrics: transaction cost as a share of GMV, payment success rate, dispute rate, revenue leakage, fraud losses, onboarding conversion and account-related support volume.
  • Set priorities across both squads. Scope the MVP, ship quickly, measure whether it worked, then iterate.
  • Write and review Product Requirement Documents and Opportunity Assessments that record trade-offs, edge cases, compliance and data considerations before work reaches engineering.
  • Use AI tools yourself in discovery, analysis, PRD writing and data accuracy checks, and help raise AI adoption across the product team.
  • Act as a senior voice in the PM team. Raise the quality bar for PRDs and mentor less experienced PMs.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience, including at least 3 years owning payments, billing or fintech products in B2B SaaS, marketplaces or eCommerce.
  • Hands-on experience with payment service providers such as Stripe or Adyen, local payment methods, multi-currency settlement, disputes, chargebacks and payment reconciliation.
  • Working knowledge of account and identity products: KYC and KYB, role-based access control, and fraud detection or risk-scoring tools.
  • An understanding of VAT and GST tax invoicing and the basics of revenue accounting, with a record of working closely with Finance teams.
  • A proven record of moving business metrics such as cost, revenue and loss rates, with examples you can quantify.
  • Experience running more than one engineering squad or roadmap in parallel without losing depth in either.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort pulling and interpreting data yourself using SQL or equivalent tools.
  • Clear, structured written communication, and the confidence to challenge engineering, stakeholders and leadership with evidence.
  • Practical, demonstrable use of AI tools in your day-to-day product work.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance or a related field, preferred.
