Senior Product Manager - Wise Platform - Fincrime

Description

The company is building a new fincrime product engineering team and is hiring a Senior Product Manager to help grow it.

You will own the vision and roadmap for partner-specific financial crime controls covering fraud, AML, screening and internal tooling.

You will work with engineering, compliance, operations, partner experience and commercial teams to cut risk and help the company Platform scale safely.

The company Platform helps banks, software companies and large enterprises offer payments products to their own customers using the company's infrastructure. Partners include some of the world's largest banks and online platforms. It is a start-up within a scale-up, with teams in New York, London, Singapore and other locations.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for fincrime controls and investigator tooling on the company Platform, weighing risk reduction, operational load and partner experience against each other.
• Lead delivery across engineering, compliance, operations and partner teams. Shape unclear problems into concrete plans and ship improvements in small iterations.
• Build a strong understanding of how the company Platform partner models work and how fincrime risk differs in embedded or correspondent-style use cases compared with consumer and business use cases.
• Improve the usability of internal tools that analysts use to review alerts and cases, so investigations are faster, safer and more consistent.
• Set success metrics, track control effectiveness, false positives and operational impact, and keep tuning what ships based on the data.
• Represent the company Platform across the wider company, keep it aligned with broader control changes, and build good working relationships with other fincrime teams.

Requirements

• Product management experience delivering real results in a cross-functional setting with complex operations.
• Skill in framing problems and setting priorities: you can turn vague risk or tooling issues into clear scope, milestones and trade-offs.
• Able to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues, including senior stakeholders.
• A delivery focus: you ship iteratively, measure impact and adjust quickly.
• Exposure to financial crime areas such as AML, transaction monitoring, fraud, screening or investigations, to fintech risk, or to internal tooling or case management products.
• Experience with platform products or B2B integrations where partner impact and operational scalability matter.
