(Senior) Product Manager - (Logistics, Customer Choice)

Description

This is a senior product manager role on the Choice products within the Logistics team.

The Choice products decide which options a customer sees. They weigh live fleet saturation against what customers want, so delivery capacity limits do not block an order.

The logistics team works on last-mile delivery to make it efficient, affordable and sustainable, with benefits for riders, end customers and merchants in many countries. The work also supports expansion into grocery and retail.

The company runs a local delivery platform in about 65 countries. It is headquartered in Berlin, has been listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since 2017 and is part of the MDAX index.

The role carries responsibility for delivery as well as strategy.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for demand management solutions that match fleet capacity to customer orders.
• Take features from concept to launch alongside Engineering by writing clear requirements and ranking the backlog.
• Work with Data Science to shape and assess models and AI-driven configurations that replace manual operational settings.
• Design and run experiments, and track conversion, cancellation and fleet saturation figures to choose what ships next.
• Keep Operations, regional product teams and engineers aligned on priorities, trade-offs and timelines during delivery.
• Work with several internal stakeholders to confirm that services are being used and to measure end-to-end impact.

Requirements

• Product management background, preferably in marketplace, logistics or e-commerce.
• Proven record of guiding stakeholders through execution and getting varied teams to agree on complex initiatives.
• Hands-on approach: you work through details with engineers, including APIs and system behavior.
• Comfortable using data to define success measures and assess impact.
• Experience working with data scientists, with a working understanding of ML concepts and experimentation frameworks.
• Able to manage several competing priorities when operating conditions change quickly.
• Experience in logistics, delivery or other supply-and-demand balancing problems.
• Experience building internal tools for operations teams.
• Some exposure to rules engines, ranking or personalization systems.
• Experience launching AI-driven product features.

Conditions

Hybrid working model with 2 days a week in the office at the Berlin campus.
