Description

The company makes a ring and connected app that help members understand their readiness, activity, sleep quality and overall health through daily insights and practical next steps.

This is a quickly growing company, and the Movement team is hiring a Senior Product Designer to help members move with more awareness, motivation and confidence.

The design team turns complex physiology and sensor data into simple experiences that show people what their data means and what to do next.

The work covers mobile experiences for daily activity, workouts, live metrics and post-activity insights.

The role is hands-on and highly collaborative. You will own product areas from early exploration through launch and work with Product, Engineering, Science, Research and other designers. The goal is experiences that are clear, useful and well integrated into the wider app.

Responsibilities

  • Design complete mobile experiences for Movement and advanced hardware features, covering problem definition, prototyping, refinement and launch.
  • Turn complex biometric data and product science into clear, precise and intuitive experiences that help members understand their bodies and act on what they learn.
  • Work fluidly between Figma and AI prototyping tools, and test concepts against real data to validate and refine them quickly.
  • Add new features and improve existing Movement experiences, using research and data to iterate.
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Research and Science to understand member needs and shape design decisions.
  • Work with other designers to keep Movement consistent with the wider app and hold a high standard of craft.
  • Take part in design critique, feedback and knowledge sharing.
  • The role is hybrid, based out of the San Francisco office.

Requirements

  • 5+ years designing digital products, including substantial work on consumer mobile experiences.
  • A portfolio that shows strong visual design, interaction design and product thinking, with end-to-end ownership of shipped work.
  • Fluency in Figma and AI-assisted prototyping, with the judgment to test and validate ideas against real data.
  • The ability to turn complex information into clear, actionable user experiences.
  • A record of using research, usability testing and analytics to guide design decisions.
  • Strong grasp of mobile design patterns, and knowing when to break them.
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain decisions and work across disciplines and distributed teams.
  • Experience with wearables, sensors, connected devices or other data-rich health and fitness products.
  • Experience designing for movement, workouts, activity tracking or behavior change.
  • Experience with motion design and interaction details that make data-rich experiences feel intuitive and motivating.
  • Curiosity about emerging technology, sensing capabilities and how they can make health experiences more useful.
  • An interest in how movement, recovery, readiness and long-term health connect.
