Senior/Principal Implementation Manager - Servicing (Fincrime)

Description

The company is a global technology business that moves and manages money internationally for individuals and businesses.

You will join the Implementation Management team as a Senior or Principal Implementation Manager in Servicing (Fincrime).

You will own high-stakes projects from start to finish, working across product, engineering, compliance and operations.

The role goes beyond tracking tasks. You will understand the technical and operational context well enough to test plans, spot clashes between workstreams and keep the control environment meeting regulatory expectations on time and sustainably.

Responsibilities

• Take sole ownership of cross-squad projects with high compliance or regulatory stakes, plus core platform migrations, control rollouts and product launches.
• Run the full program lifecycle: write briefs and plans, set clear outcomes, design governance, run forums focused on exceptions, maintain program records and hold teams accountable.
• Build working knowledge of the domains you cover, such as AML, KYC, fraud and screening, and of the architectures involved. Use it to challenge plans, anticipate clashes between workstreams and advise senior stakeholders on trade-offs.
• Work hands-on between product delivery and technical systems. You need not review detailed technical specifications, but should read architecture diagrams, ask pointed technical questions and build simple dashboards.
• Document workflows, automate manual steps, remove administrative friction and set up measurements so processes scale across the organization.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience delivering cross-functional technical or operational projects as a Program Manager, Implementation Manager, Technical Program Manager (TPM), Technical Consultant, Product Manager, Project Manager or Fintech Delivery Lead.
• Strong program delivery practice, from scoping and briefs through governance design, stakeholder reporting and post-implementation audits. Expert with modern project management platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, adapting your message for product managers, engineers and business leaders.
• Able to break complex programs down to first principles, read system architecture flows and ask sharp questions across business, technical and operational areas.
• Able to take in unstructured information from different domains, find patterns and build standard, repeatable frameworks.
• Pragmatic about process improvement, dislikes busywork and performative status updates, and willing to get hands-on to fix real operational bottlenecks.
• Benefit from: experience leading initiatives in fintech, payments, financial crime, risk or compliance, or core platform architecture.

Conditions

Base salary of £90,000 to £150,000 gross per year, depending on experience and interview outcomes.
