Senior .NET Developer REMOTE, Bulgaria

The CEE unit has nearly 1,000 specialists who build modern applications, data platforms, and AI solutions, working with AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, and Snowflake. The culture combines engineering depth, a consulting approach, and knowledge sharing.

The project migrates and modernizes a business-critical enterprise platform for an international company in rail transport and asset leasing. Phase one builds the technical foundation and moves an initial set of business modules. Existing functions and business rules stay intact, while selected improvements in usability, automation, performance, observability, and security are added. Delivery is phased so operations keep running during the transition.

Responsibilities

• Build a reusable application platform with shared components and common development patterns.
• Move existing business functionality across with full functional parity.
• Analyse and document complex business rules, data, and dependencies.
• Connect the new solution to enterprise systems and support data migration.
• Ship incremental releases backed by automated testing, user acceptance testing, and post-release stabilization.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, business stakeholders, and domain experts to turn existing processes into reliable software.
• Work in an international team using Scrum, with two-week sprints and regular refinement, planning, and review sessions.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with.NET, ASP.NET Core WebAPI, REST, TDD, Docker, and Azure DevOps.
• Exposure to GenAI, including Claude Code and GitHub Copilot, and practical use of AI assistants such as Cursor to improve productivity, quality, or decisions in software delivery.
• Experience applying GenAI in a structured way across the SDLC, with defined workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations built into daily work.
• Familiarity with emerging AI practices such as agent-based workflows, automation patterns, and AI-augmented development, and willingness to experiment beyond standard approaches.
• Knowledge of C and React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Terraform, xUnit, Vitest, and Playwright is part of the stack you will work with.
• AWS as nice to have.

Conditions

Remote work from Bulgaria.

You must work from the European Union region, and a work permit is required.

Scrum delivery with two-week sprints in an international setting.
