The team sits in the go-to-market organization and reports to a Customer Engineering senior leader. It covers Central Eastern Europe and Israel.
The company runs one of the largest networks in the world, serving millions of websites and Internet properties, from individual bloggers and small businesses to Fortune 500 companies.
The product protects and speeds up any online application without new hardware, installed software, or code changes. Traffic for these properties is routed through a global network that improves with each request, which customers see as better performance and fewer spam and attack problems.
The company values curiosity over bureaucracy and iterates quickly. It expects people to use AI to ship faster, and to share every improvement with the team.
Responsibilities
Lead a team of Customer Engineers who manage each customer's technical journey, from first discovery through adoption, retention, and account growth.
Recruit, onboard, coach, and keep a varied team of Customer Engineers across several levels. Set clear expectations, hold regular 1:1s and performance reviews, and build a culture of useful feedback that supports growth.
Stay hands-on in the field as a player-coach, joining customer work while managing the team day to day.
Manage the team's opportunity pipeline, forecast new business and expansion each week, and take responsibility for the accuracy of the team's number. Spot risks early and coach reps on deal strategy.
Own the team's targets for new business, expansion, adoption, and consumption. Work closely with Sales, Customer Experience, Professional Services, and regional leadership on account plans.
Join Customer Engineers on key customer calls, QBRs, discovery sessions, and proof-of-concept reviews. Coach them live on architecture, commercial positioning, and executive communication.
Make sure the team follows GTM processes for forecasting, opportunity management, account planning, and QBR cadence. Use dashboards and operating reviews to find trends, remove blockers, and keep the team consistent.
Promote AI agents, LLMs, and automation across the team to cut manual work, improve response quality, and grow the impact of technical advice.
Represent the team and the territory in leadership meetings. Work with Product, Engineering, Support, Marketing, and Enablement to pass field feedback up and push for customer and team needs.
Live the company's values and build an inclusive, high-performing team based on curiosity, ownership, and continuous improvement.
