The IT team is hiring a Senior IT Systems Engineer to run its SaaS collaboration and endpoint management platforms. You will work broadly across IT with hands-on depth and a security focus, helping automate work, protect sensitive data, reduce risk and maintain compliance. You will partner with cross-functional teams, lead engineering projects and handle daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Handle escalations and day-to-day administration of the SaaS platforms.
• Lead lifecycle management across the core collaboration and endpoint management platforms.
• Set and maintain policies, software rollouts, patching and security compliance on Mac and Windows devices using Jamf and Intune.
• Build scripts and workflows in Python, PowerShell or Okta Workflows to cut admin effort and improve the user experience.
• Monitor system health, performance and usage, resolving or escalating problems early.
• Work with Security, Engineering, HR and Legal so SaaS tools fit company infrastructure and processes.
• Run investigations and discovery across systems for Legal and HR.
• Help with vendor management and product evaluations.
• Drive solutions and project work.
• Set up single sign-on for new applications.
• Write and keep current technical operating procedures, policies and engineering roadmaps.
• Work with the Security team to apply security best practices when designing and rolling out the platforms.
• Provide Tier 3 IT support.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or comparable experience.
• 3+ years working with SaaS collaboration tools and managing Mac and Windows endpoints.
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Solid grasp of email delivery flow, IT security and IAM concepts.
• Understanding of RBAC and permission models across major SaaS applications.
• Hands-on scripting and automation experience.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Conditions

This is an onsite role, job code LI-onsite, location code LI-VA1.

US base salary range: $130,000 - $172,000 USD, excluding bonus, equity and benefits.

The range shows the minimum and maximum target base salary for the role, level and location. Individual pay within it depends on work location, skills, experience and relevant education or training.
