Senior Implementation Manager - Finance Systems

Description

The Finance Implementation team makes sure every activity at the company that has a financial impact is integrated into the financial systems, recorded correctly and kept under control.

The work means partnering with finance, product and engineering teams to understand how the business operates and turn that into compliant financials.

The company is a global technology company that moves and manages money across borders for individuals and businesses.

You will gain broad, in-depth exposure to the company's internal product finance systems while working alongside implementation managers, engineers, analysts and operations specialists.

You will work within an international finance team, learn about fintech and finance, help keep the company financially sustainable, and help build a high-volume, real-time financial implementation system.

Responsibilities

• Understand why and how the company's product and finance systems connect, and explain the mechanics and the financial concepts to engineers and to all finance stakeholders.
• Plan the work and deliver it with implementation managers, engineers, analysts and operations specialists.
• Write clear documentation covering requirements, detailed project plans, resource allocation, testing and delivery.
• Work with Accounting, Tax, Reporting and Financial Planning & Analysis to keep financials clean, accurate and compliant in every entity worldwide, on schedule.

Requirements

• You are hands-on, willing to do whatever the team and product need to succeed, and you get things done.
• Experience with ERP systems is a must.
• Nice to have: expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, particularly in financial system integrations, including connecting it with internal and third-party systems to produce accurate financial data.
• Experience working with business process services such as invoices and payments.
• You have scoped and integrated external systems with internal ones, keeping data flowing smoothly and financial reporting timely and accurate.
• You manage integrations from scoping through to post-production, delivering data-driven projects in quick-moving environments.
• You apply LEAN principles to improve processes and remove inefficiencies in integrated financial systems.
• You have a solid grasp of finance and accounting, so you can collaborate effectively with finance teams.
• You communicate well, bring people together behind a shared goal, handle differing views, and bring clarity and structure to complex problems and diverse teams.
