Description

A global digital transformation and engineering partner with over 25 years of experience, about 5,000 people, and presence in 16 countries. The company works in AI, data and cloud, intelligent automation, and digital products, and works with AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, and Snowflake.

Its CEE team of nearly 1,000 people builds applications, data platforms, and AI solutions for clients in the region.

This role sits in a cloud transformation and migration project for an international client, running from June 2026 to June 2027. The project takes an existing cloud platform from an early MVP to a scalable setup that supports self-service, large-scale migration, infrastructure automation, and AI enablement.

The work spans several parallel delivery streams and centers on reusable cloud infrastructure and platform services so engineering teams can deploy, run, and scale their workloads. You will work with data engineers, data architects, and delivery management to improve reliability, automation, governance, and cloud infrastructure in a complex enterprise setting.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain cloud platform solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Develop and manage reusable Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
  • Build and improve CI/CD pipelines so deployments are reliable and automated.
  • Drive infrastructure automation and self-service options for engineering teams.
  • Support cloud migration work across several parallel delivery streams.
  • Design scalable, reliable solutions using cloud-native architecture and distributed systems.
  • Improve platform observability, monitoring, logging, performance, and operational reliability.
  • Apply cloud governance, security, and cost optimization practices.
  • Work with data engineers, data architects, and delivery teams so platform capabilities match project needs.
  • Contribute to engineering standards, reusable patterns, and ongoing platform improvement.
  • Help the platform move toward more automation, better developer enablement, and AI-assisted capabilities.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with GCP.
  • Solid experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong background in infrastructure automation and cloud platform engineering.
  • Understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architecture.
  • Experience in complex enterprise environments with several parallel delivery streams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a sense of ownership.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate across technical and delivery teams.
  • Experience with platform engineering or internal developer platforms.
  • Exposure to data platform technologies and architectures, such as BigQuery, Kafka, and data pipelines.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization.
  • Experience supporting large-scale cloud migrations or transformation programs.
  • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
  • Understanding of cloud security and infrastructure governance practices.
  • Experience building self-service platforms and developer enablement capabilities.
  • Familiarity with AI enablement and advanced infrastructure automation use cases.
  • GCP certifications.
  • Experience working with international and distributed engineering teams.

Conditions
