Senior Endpoint Systems Engineer, Microsoft - (Hybrid Allen, TX)

Description

The company is hiring a senior endpoint engineer who knows Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM). The role centres on building out Autopilot, including deployment profiles and key application rollouts, and on moving legacy GPOs into compliance policies. You will also give advanced support for Microsoft 365 services used by end users and their devices.

This is a hybrid role based at the Allen, TX office. You will report to the head of Endpoint Management.

Responsibilities

• Build out and improve Microsoft Intune and Autopilot for endpoint management and device provisioning.
• Set up device compliance policies and move legacy Group Policy settings to modern management controls.
• Deploy, manage and keep current applications, updates and endpoint configurations on managed devices.
• Help run endpoint security work, covering Microsoft Cloud PKI, application control policies and device compliance standards.
• Watch device health, inventory and Microsoft 365 service performance so users get reliable experiences.
• Build reports and insights with Microsoft Graph and other Microsoft 365 management tools.
• Build and maintain automation with Azure Automation, Logic Apps, Functions and scripting tools.
• Troubleshoot endpoint management, security and Microsoft 365 problems, and support security assessments and fixes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in endpoint management and endpoint security.
• Experience running Microsoft Intune for device management, app deployment, compliance and security policy.
• Experience implementing and managing Windows Autopilot, including full zero-touch deployment setups.
• Experience building and maintaining automation with Azure Automation Runbooks and Azure Logic Apps.
• Experience with PowerShell or a similar scripting language for automation, configuration and administration.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems, endpoint security controls and security best practices.
• Experience writing technical documentation and operating procedures.
• Preferred: Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert certification.

Conditions

Hybrid work based in Allen, TX, reporting to the head of Endpoint Management.

Base pay is set by work location and factors such as job-related skills, experience and education, within the range shown for the role.
