About the Revenue team

The Revenue team drives Affirm’s top-line growth through strategic partnerships, pricing, and go-to-market execution. We acquire, retain, and expand merchant relationships across eCommerce, in-store, telesales, and the Affirm app. The team leads onboarding, relationship management, and performance optimization to help partners succeed. We deliver value-added solutions, drive adoption, and support long-term business growth by connecting merchants and consumers through Affirm’s products.

Marketing Services drives growth through merchant and platform partnerships, integrated marketing programs, marketplace experiences, and events that deepen relationships and create value for Affirm and our partners.

Responsibilities

  • Set the long-term vision and strategy for Marketing Services, establishing how Affirm leverages merchant and platform partnerships, marketing solutions, and experiences to drive growth, deepen partner relationships, and strengthen Affirm’s market position.
  • Oversee our Marketing Services team to make sure they are deploying co-marketing investments in the most efficient way possible to support our merchant partnerships.
  • Lead the Marketplace Partnerships, Partner Marketing, and Platform Marketing teams through experienced people leaders, setting clear priorities, operating models, and measures of success.
  • Shape Affirm’s partner and industry events strategy to deepen relationships, create commercial opportunities, and advance company priorities.
  • Set the strategy for how Affirm deploys merchant and Affirm-funded marketing investments, balancing partner commitments, business priorities, consumer impact, and return on investment to maximize the value of our co-marketing programs.
  • Partner with Product team to identify, lead, and expand revenue-generating programs to expand monetization and deliver merchant performance
  • Partner with Sales, Client Success, and Partnerships leaders to shape integrated merchant growth and account strategies, and work across Product, Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, Brand, Analytics, Finance, Legal, and other teams to align priorities and solve complex cross-functional challenges that affect partner and company growth.
  • Establish scalable frameworks for investment decisions, measurement, campaign governance, partner experiences, and cross-functional execution.
  • Oversee significant marketing investments and partner-funded programs, establishing a disciplined approach to resource allocation, measurement, incrementality, and long-term return.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience across Partner Marketing, Performance Marketing, Partnerships, Marketplace, Media, Events, or related growth disciplines, including significant experience leading complex, multi-disciplinary organizations.
  • Proven success developing and executing long-term partner marketing or growth strategies that have driven meaningful commercial outcomes in a complex, scaled organization.
  • Demonstrated experience leading through other people leaders, building high-performing organizations, and developing senior talent.
  • Experience building or scaling new growth channels, monetization models, partner programs, or business capabilities in evolving markets.
  • Strong strategic and commercial judgment with the ability to evaluate complex and ambiguous opportunities, anticipate market shifts, and negotiate high stakes deals to close.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence executive leadership and build alignment across Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, and other functions without relying on direct authority.
  • Exceptional executive presence and communication skills, with experience building relationships and negotiating with senior executives at strategic merchants, platforms, agencies, and other external partners.
  • Strong analytical orientation and experience using performance, customer, and market insights to inform strategy, investment decisions, and organizational priorities.
