Senior Consultant Data Engineering and/or Data Architecture (all genders)

The role is based in Berlin and combines a hybrid setup with a high degree of flexibility.

You will lead an international, cross-functional Data Engineering and Data Architecture team in the company's data unit in Berlin, driving complex, data-driven business solutions forward.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team technically while also taking on project and account management duties to keep customers highly satisfied and projects on track.
• Advise clients on strategy and technology across the planning, building and ongoing improvement of modern data solutions.
• Work closely with product teams in a cloud-based environment to shape vision and turn roadmaps into delivered work.
• Track trends and developments in data and technology to spot new opportunities and insights.
• Help build an open, positive team culture that values motivation, ownership and performance.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in Data Engineering and/or Data Architecture, ideally in cloud environments.
• Experience in consulting-heavy roles, either at a consulting firm or in corporate projects with many stakeholders, and familiarity with how large organizations operate.
• Experience working with business units, IT and management, and the ability to explain complex technical topics to different audiences.
• Leadership experience, whether people management or functional leadership.
• A solution-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take responsibility and drive initiatives forward.
• First-language or bilingual proficiency in German and English.
