Senior Data Engineer (all genders)

Description

The company is building a new Databricks lakehouse for its CRM domain, linking Salesforce with other key data sources.

You will create scalable pipelines and the machine learning infrastructure that supports customer forecasting and business planning.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical design authority and lead delivery of end-to-end ETL and ELT pipelines.
• Turn raw data from Salesforce, Redshift and the data lake into a high-quality Medallion architecture.
• Use Terraform to provision, configure and secure the Databricks workspace and Unity Catalog.
• Apply strict GDPR and PII rules to partner data through Unity Catalog policies.
• Lead the build of monitoring dashboards and BI solutions using Databricks SQL and MicroStrategy.
• Design a two-way data flow that supports CRM activation through reverse ETL and customer forecasting.
• Serve as the main technical expert, mentoring colleagues, reviewing code and setting engineering practices for alerting and performance tuning.

Requirements

• At least 5 years as a data engineer, including at least 3 years in production work with Databricks, Spark and Delta Lake.
• Experience designing and driving systems that span several components, especially integrations with enterprise CRM platforms.
• Skilled in Terraform, advanced Python and CI/CD for scalable ETL and ELT pipelines and ML infrastructure, including MLflow and Databricks Genie.
• Deep knowledge of data governance, security and quality, such as Unity Catalog and PII handling, to set standards for sensitive customer data.
• Strong self-direction and a drive to deepen your technical knowledge.
• Fluent English.
