Senior Cloud Security Architect

Description

The Office of Technology and Innovation runs city technology work for New York City, including affordable broadband, cybersecurity protection, and digital government services.

The role reports to the Infrastructure Management division.

Responsibilities

• Help design and deploy security solutions for large, complex hybrid cloud environments.
• Advise on secure design, processes, and resilient solutions from planning through implementation.
• Work with Infrastructure Management leadership, engineering and architecture teams, the operations team, and cloud vendors.
• Take on special projects and initiatives as assigned.
• Work various shifts, including weekends and nights or evenings, as the 24/7 operation requires.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college and four years of satisfactory full-time experience in projects and policies relevant to the position; or equivalent education and/or experience.

Conditions

Location: Brooklyn, NY.

Shifts may include weekends and nights or evenings because the operation runs 24/7.
