Help Desk Associate, Bureau of Early Intervention

Description

The Division of Family and Child Health at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene builds and oversees programs, policies, and services for children and families across the city. The Bureau of Early Intervention is one of its four units.

This is a permanent position reporting to the EI Systems supervisor. The role focuses on data work that helps resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Review submitted documents and process requests to correct data.
• Enter data into databases.
• Prepare reports.
• Take on special projects when assigned.

Requirements

• A four-year high school diploma or an equivalent recognized by a state education department or an accrediting body, plus one year of satisfactory clerical experience.
• Typing speed of at least 100 keystrokes (20 words) per minute.

Conditions

Permanent position.

Depending on your role, you may be able to work from home up to two days a week.
