Senior Cloud Architect (all genders)

You will join the company's data crew at the Berlin data studio and work with around 2,500 experts across its international teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and design cloud architectures for customers, with a main focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Advise customers on shaping and carrying out their cloud strategies, including migrations and integrations.
• Document technical solutions and make sure they deliver top performance, scalability and security in Azure.
• Run architecture assessments and technical audits to check solutions against best practices and industry standards.
• Learn what customers' businesses need and design tailored cloud solutions for them.
• Lead technical teams and help develop junior architects technically.

Requirements

• A degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification.
• Extensive experience designing and building cloud architectures, preferably with Microsoft Azure.
• 3+ years in stakeholder management and direct external client work in consulting, focused on automotive or e-commerce.
• Strong skill in producing architecture diagrams, technical specifications and best-practice recommendations.
• Experience as a technical lead, guiding projects or workstreams and managing teams.
• Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams to match technical solutions to business needs.
• Deep knowledge of Azure services such as Azure Virtual Network, Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service and Azure Identity Services.
• Solid grasp of cloud security, Identity and Access Management (IAM) and data protection.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset that drives innovation and continuous improvement.
• Full professional proficiency in German and English, at C1 level minimum.
• Desirable: certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or an equivalent.
