Senior Associate, Product Manager - Global Payment Network

  • Hybrid
  • 6+ years

Salary

$101,100 - 115,400/ year

Description

The company is building its payment products and the team that runs them, and this role sits inside the Enterprise Payments Product team.

You will help change how millions of customers manage their money through payment experiences that are more consistent, scalable, and widely adopted.

You will review current processes with teams across the organization, find what to improve, and put solutions in place that meet business goals and customer needs.

You may work on Authorizations, Settlement, Disputes, Backoffice, Pricing, or Go-to-Market, using data, technology, and collaboration to ship reliable, efficient, easy-to-use payment products.

This is a product management role for someone who will learn the core skills of the job, with investment in four areas: human-centered work, business focus, technology, and leadership.

Strong fit means being curious, able to explain complex ideas to any audience, action-oriented, a customer-focused builder, a continuous learner, and a team player.

Basic qualifications: a bachelor's degree or military experience, plus at least 1 year of product management experience or at least 1 year in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering.

Preferred qualifications: a bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering, 1+ years turning business strategy or analysis into consumer-facing digital products, 1+ years on core product platforms powering digital experiences, and 1+ years as a product owner on cross-functional agile teams.

Responsibilities

  • Work with tech teams to write full acceptance criteria, and flag where more research is needed before designing a future feature.
  • Break business epics into features and then into user stories, steering the team toward the lowest-effort MVP that can validate a feature.
  • Use hypothesis-driven analysis of data to confirm that your product or feature meets real business needs.
  • Own and prioritize feature roadmaps, making sure required processes are followed to manage risk.
  • Work autonomously in an agile setting to research and build features using new and changing technology.
  • Partner with designers, engineers, data scientists, and subject-matter experts to create advanced solutions for customers.
  • Keep up with technology trends and architecture strategy so the product platforms you manage are well run.
  • Build a network of trusted relationships across tech teams, designers, internal stakeholders, and partner teams through horizontal forums.
  • Present a clear product roadmap that shows business value to stakeholders, and build your expertise as the team's product expert.

Requirements

  • Ask why, explore widely, and stay with a problem until you find the answer, even when things are unclear.
  • Explain complex ideas clearly to any audience and get people behind your work.
  • Act quickly, learn from failed attempts, work around blockers, and stay organized enough to juggle and rank tasks.
  • Care about developing others and bringing people together around what could be done, and talk with internal or external customers to understand what they need.
  • Keep learning new things and technologies, and ask for help when you need it.
  • Work well with people from different backgrounds, push the team toward shared goals, and put the team first.

Conditions

This is a hybrid role, and you must follow the company's hybrid policy on required time at your assigned office.
