Description

The firm's data science and AI enablement team supports both client-facing analytics and the firm's internal AI initiatives.

The role focuses on designing, building, and running data and AI solutions that make analytical delivery faster, build internal capability, and support secure, governed use of new technologies.

The firm's professionals advise on high-stakes legal, risk, and regulatory matters for leading law firms, corporations, and institutions worldwide, and the team is growing quickly.

The firm values collaboration, ongoing professional development, recognition, and diversity.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain client-facing analytics, including BI dashboards, data models, large-scale data processing workflows, and analytical deliverables, working alongside engagement teams.
  • Build, enhance, and support internal AI tools, including AI-enabled assistants, domain-specific analytical applications, and other large language model solutions.
  • Design, prototype, test, and deploy AI-enabled and agentic workflows that automate repeatable processes such as intake, triage, research, document review, retrieval, drafting, quality assurance, and escalation.
  • Support cloud-based AI infrastructure, covering architecture, integrations, access controls, monitoring, security, responsible-AI practices, and production support.
  • Work with IT and practice teams to turn business and client needs into scalable data and AI solutions, handling access, configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, and handoffs.
  • Write documentation and runbooks, track adoption and performance, and find ways to expand internal AI capability, scale systems, and keep production use secure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, computer science, engineering, statistics, or a related quantitative or technical field.
  • 2, 4 years of experience in data science, analytics, business intelligence, or a similar technical role, including delivering solutions in a professional or client-facing setting.
  • Demonstrated experience with Power BI and Databricks, including data modeling, data preparation, analytics, visualization, and production-oriented data workflows.
  • Experience with AWS and AI/LLM infrastructure, including cloud architecture, APIs and integrations, access controls, monitoring, deployment, and production support.
  • AWS certification is strongly preferred. Relevant certifications include AWS Certified.
