Manager, Data Science

Description

The Data Science team at the agency works closely with marketing science teams to support client business goals. This role is a manager position within that team.

Responsibilities

• Build advanced machine learning models that cluster and segment audiences, then scale and deploy those custom audiences across platforms and publishers.
• Run descriptive and diagnostic analyses to measure campaign performance inside clean rooms or other analytics platforms such as Google ADH, Facebook advanced analytics, and Amazon Marketing Cloud.
• Meet set deadlines while keeping work product at a high standard.
• Use coding skills to make internal processes more efficient.
• Help build decks and reports that turn analytical results into material internal and client teams can use.
• Add to the Data Science practice knowledge repository with decks, documents, and other artifacts.

Requirements

• Write programs in languages such as SQL, Python, or R.
• Apply machine learning techniques and causal models at an intermediate level to analyze information.
• Communicate and present findings at an advanced level.
• Have worked with non-technical teams, at least to some degree.
• Understand digital clean rooms and the concepts and strategy around them.
• Hold certifications in Meta (Blueprint), SQL, Python, or R (online). Certifications in any one of these are enough.
• Bring demonstrated knowledge of the business and industry.
• Hold a university degree in mathematics, computer science, statistics, or a related field, plus 3-5 years of experience in informatics work in academia, advertising, management consulting, marketing, or digital consulting.
• Knowledge of agency-side execution processes is a plus but not required.

Conditions

Pay is $90,000-110,000.

The company requires employees to work in the office at least three days a week, where local law allows. A manager or the agency can direct more in-office days.
