Description

The AI & Automation Supply Chain Business Transformations team sits within the company Operations and builds agentic AI at scale.

As Senior AI Engineer, you will put into practice a plan to codify decision logic and build decision intelligence, so that AI agents deliver value that is trusted, scalable and innovative.

You would be defining the AI agents for supply chain operations at one of the most advanced AI companies in the world.

This role suits someone working where AI innovation meets supply chain transformation.

The company says it is widely regarded as one of the most sought-after employers in technology and is looking for people driven by impact and interested in enterprise AI.

This is an existing vacancy.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own enterprise-grade agentic AI systems for supply chain use cases, covering multi-agent architectures, orchestration frameworks, RAG pipelines, deployment, monitoring and full lifecycle management.
  • Gather design requirements, turn them into user stories and carry out technical design.
  • Run end-to-end integration testing, prepare data and fix issues during UAT.
  • Manage development team activities and build a Hypercare support model.
  • Write code yourself and deliver enterprise-grade agentic AI supply chain solutions.
  • Work with enterprise IT engineering, product and research teams using LLMs, agentic frameworks, and the company's NeMo and AIQ technologies.
  • Connect the solutions to enterprise IT and Operations data sources and leading agentic platforms, with a strong focus on content security.
  • Make architecture decisions across on-prem, cloud, hybrid and containerized deployment models so systems stay scalable, reliable and efficient.
  • Lead technical design reviews, write technical design documents and apply sound code development practices.
  • Define agent autonomy limits, human-in-the-loop workflows and escalation paths for supply chain use cases.
  • Design and build observability and evaluation frameworks covering latency, accuracy, cost, failure modes and hallucination analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, plus 12+ years of proven work in software architecture, systems design or enterprise platform engineering.
  • Strong hands-on Python skills for production AI systems, along with SQL, JSON and backend service development. Java is a plus.
  • At least 2+ years working as a Palantir AI Foundry and AIP platform Forward Deployment Engineer is required.
  • Proven proficiency in AI/ML systems, generative AI or agentic AI frameworks.
  • Experience with LLMs, RAG architectures and agent orchestration frameworks, including ReAct patterns, LangChain-based systems and AutoGPT-style workflows.
  • Hands-on work with vector databases, embeddings and retrieval optimization, including indexing, similarity search tuning and relevance evaluation in production.
  • Experience designing multi-agent communication and coordination patterns such as planner/executor/critic and supervisor agents.
  • Experience integrating enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM or ITSM through APIs, data connectors or custom services.
  • Strong technical solution design and analytical skills, including technical and business process modeling.
  • Excellent collaboration skills: you can influence cross-functional stakeholders, build trusted partnerships and explain complex architecture clearly to technical and business audiences.

Conditions

Applications will be accepted until at least October 31, 2026.
