Security Engineer (North Carolina)

Responsibilities

• Team up with the sales group to spot new prospects.
• Demonstrate the whole product line, which defends organizations from threats and safeguards their operations and data.
• Inform customers, prospects and partners about the many technical and business difficulties companies run into, and how the company's offerings resolve them.
• Lead meetings with current and potential customers to uncover their pain points and recommend suitable solutions.
• Answer technical questions, advise on best practices and run proof-of-concept trials.
• Prepare responses to RFIs and RFPs.
• Keep key partners and customers current on the newest security technologies.
• Take part in cybersecurity events.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in engineering and pre-sales.
• Analytical thinking and sound problem-solving ability.
• Solid grasp of how typical customer networks are built.
• Able to design a complete, end-to-end security solution for a customer's environment.
• Communicate and present clearly and effectively.
• Certifications such as CCNP, CISSP, CCSA or CCSE are highly preferred.
