Security Engineer

Description

The company's security products protect more than 100,000 organizations worldwide from cyber and AI-driven threats, with a prevention-first approach covering hybrid networks, cloud environments, digital workspaces and AI systems.

This is a pre-sales security engineering role on the sales team, focused on finding prospects and showing customers how the company's solutions address their technical, operational and business risks.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to find and qualify prospects.
• Run product demonstrations covering the full range of the company's security solutions and how they protect networks, operations and data.
• Teach customers, prospects and partners about the technical, operational and business problems organizations face, and how the company's solutions help.
• Lead meetings with new and existing customers to understand their problems and recommend suitable solutions.
• Answer technical questions, advise on security best practices and manage proof-of-concept projects.
• Prepare responses to RFIs and RFPs.
• Keep key partners and customers informed about the latest security technologies.
• Take an active part in cybersecurity events.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in engineering and pre-sales.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A solid grasp of how typical customer networks are built.
• Ability to design an end-to-end security solution for a customer's environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Relevant certifications are highly preferred, for example CCNP, CISSP, CCSA or CCSE.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship from an employer now or in the future.

Conditions

Base pay is estimated at $160,000 - $190,000, based on factors such as location, experience, certifications and business needs; this range is not adjusted for geographic differentials of the location where the role is filled.

Some roles may also earn an annual bonus or sales incentive tied to revenue or utilization, under the terms of the plan, with awards based on individual performance.
