The Security Awareness & Capability Analyst I works under security leadership to build a security culture through awareness work.

Responsibilities

  • Create content for distribution across security channels, working with internal security teams and business units.
  • Keep an publication calendar for awareness, training and events, and run several awareness projects at once without letting quality slip.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with audiences ranging from leadership to staff.
  • Build foundational awareness campaigns for global employee groups, and adapt them into role-specific training for groups such as executives, engineering, sales, finance and customer service.
  • Work with subject matter experts and external stakeholders to confirm accuracy, then move materials through review, production and publication.
  • Run awareness and training delivery for employees across many regions.
  • Use a mix of channels and formats, such as computer-based training, print, in-person sessions and gamification, to suit different learning levels while building skills and measurable capability.
  • Make sure the program targets the company's biggest risks and meets regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Produce regular, high-quality reports on program status, areas to improve and what is working for the business.
  • Share knowledge and practices with other company teams and sites.
  • Keep IT systems, data, proprietary information and employee information confidential, whether internal or customer-specific.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Be proficient with computers, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), content creation or design tools, and email.
  • Communicate in a way that influences business units and builds trust with teams, global employee groups, vendors and partners.
  • Bring an analytical, problem-solving approach and take part in exchanging ideas.
  • Ask questions that drive improvement, innovation, collaboration and a proactive security culture.
  • Lead by example and act responsibly.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree, ideally in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent mix of education, training or experience.
  • Have 2-4 years of experience in a compliance or security setting, preferably supporting IT activities.
  • Be proficient in PowerPoint, Adobe CC and other presentation and graphic design tools.
  • Have strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Preferred: experience interpreting compliance requirements and producing supporting documentation.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Have at least 2 years of information security experience, preferably in enterprise security.
  • Have a technical background and a solid understanding of security threats.
  • Communicate verbally and in writing, including presenting, and influence audiences from a marketing and sales perspective.
  • Have experience managing computer-based training and learning management systems (LMS).
  • Work independently and manage several deadlines in a constantly changing environment.
  • Nice to have: a background in communications, marketing, education, instructional design, behavioral science or psychology, but not required.
