SAP iXp Intern - HanaHaus Business Insights Analyst

Description

This is a full-time Business Insights Analyst internship in the company's iXp program, on the HanaHaus team, which turns live data into insights for the business and the entrepreneurs and members it serves.

The company makes enterprise applications and business AI for finance, procurement, HR, supply chain, and customer experience, and has served its customers for over 50 years.

As an intern you join SAP Next Gen, a global community of students and early-career professionals with mentors, development programs, and peers, and you gain hands-on experience in data analytics and business intelligence across the business.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated dashboards and reports that help stakeholders make decisions.
• Run financial forecasts, track product usage, and automate finance tasks.
• Pull and analyse data from several sources to spot trends, correlations, and business opportunities.
• Prepare data for monthly and quarterly leadership presentations.
• Help with strategic projects by turning business goals into actionable development targets.

Requirements

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficient in Python with pandas, SQL, and Excel for extracting data, analysing it, and building financial reports.
• Customer-focused, able to identify needs and turn data findings into business opportunities.
• Strong communicator who can work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Metabase is a plus.
• Clear communication, a customer mindset, and a taste for finding smart solutions count at any career stage.
• Open to working with AI tools, including agentic AI, to automate everyday tasks, prototype ideas, and build confidence in AI-assisted methods from day one.

Conditions

Expected start date: December 2026.

Contract length: 6 months.

Full-time, 40 hours per week.

Based at the Newport Beach, CA office at The Waterfront, 3366 Via Lido, Newport Beach, CA 92660, through the company's US labs entity.
