SAP ABAP Developer - BTP Integration Suite

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain integration solutions on SAP BTP Integration Suite and other SAP-aligned integration tools.
• Set up and run Cloud Integration, API Management, Integration Advisor, Trading Partner Management, Event Mesh, and Advanced Event Mesh capabilities.
• Connect SAP and non-SAP systems using APIs, messaging, events, files, and B2B patterns.
• Work with functional teams, architects, and business stakeholders to turn requirements into technical integration designs.
• Create reusable components, templates, and mappings that speed up delivery.
• Add monitoring, logging, alerting, and support tooling that makes interfaces more reliable and easier to maintain.
• Diagnose and fix integration issues in development, QA, and production.
• Use AI-enabled development and testing tools to deliver faster and improve output.
• Help define integration standards and development practices, and share knowledge and documentation with the team.
• Design, code, and unit-test SAP RICEFW items such as reports, interfaces, data conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
• Build advanced artifacts including CDS views, OData services, and RAP-based applications.
• Support the development lifecycle: write code, prepare technical documentation and transport materials, fix defects, and join SIT and UAT testing.
• Take part in cutover smoke tests, triage production issues, and transfer knowledge to keep handoffs smooth and support continuous.

Requirements

• Strong ABAP OO skills.
• Hands-on experience with current SAP development practices.
• Knowledge of SAP IS-U tables and processes.
• Skill in debugging, performance optimization, and integration or conversion support.
• Ability to work effectively across functional and technical teams.
• Attention to detail and the ability to turn functional requirements into robust, scalable solutions.
• At least 4 years building and delivering solutions with SAP integration tools.
• At least 2 years with SAP BTP Integration Suite or CPI.
• Experience with SAP Trading Partner Management or an equivalent EDI platform.
• Experience with SAP Advanced Event Mesh or an equivalent event-driven architecture platform.
• An SAP or hyperscaler integration certification.
• Experience with other iPaaS solutions such as MuleSoft, Boomi, and Azure Integration Services.
• Experience with observability platforms such as Datadog, Splunk, and New Relic.

You must be eligible to obtain government clearance.

Base pay for this role is $148,800 to $306,500 USD in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia.

Actual pay depends on factors such as office location, role, skill set, and experience.
