The company runs an AI-native platform that links development, production, delivery and sustainment into one coordinated execution system for government agencies and industrial suppliers.
This is a hands-on systems role for a self-starting engineer who will own the go-to-market operations tech stack from design through build. You will design the data model, then build custom objects, Flows and integrations yourself, and help turn a legacy CRM into a scalable, automated, audit-ready platform for three go-to-market motions heading toward an S-1 filing.
You will start from the business question behind each request, asking what decision a field supports, and replace manual steps with automation. You will turn requirements from Sales, the Deal Team, Finance and account leads into technical designs, and you will own the systems and architecture layer of RevOps.
Responsibilities
Own the GTM stack: Salesforce as system of record, Planhat as the CSP, Slack, and sales-intelligence tools such as ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, GovWin and Leadership Connect. Design each solution, then build it, including custom objects, Flows, validation, cross-platform integrations and enrichment pipelines. Keep the org secure, with sound sharing and access and coordinated vendors.
Rebuild and maintain the Salesforce foundation: account hierarchy and higher-order customer structure, territories, profiles and role hierarchy, contacts and leads, activity tracking, and sales stages that vary by deal type (Standard/Direct, Capture, Partnership, BD, Corp Dev).
Design Flows, validation rules and approval routing that replace manual, error-prone work, and use current AI and workflow tools to speed up GTM operations.
Build and run integrations between Slack, marketing-influence and lead tracking, and Finance order handoffs using native connectors, middleware or APIs, so deals move without friction.
Lay the plumbing for quote-price-configure, booking and order management, and deal governance and approvals, so a formal Deal Desk can launch as RevOps grows.
Automate data-hygiene routines and duplicate management. Govern closed-won fields (contract, type, product class and type, effective date, owner and secondary owner, account, amount, partner, term) so forecasts can rely on the data.
Manage sandboxes, testing and change releases with version control and deployment discipline. Keep configuration documented and auditable ahead of S-1 review.
Maintain GTM system documentation and taxonomy in Google Drive and Confluence. Serve as tier-2/3 technical support for the field, and train newly hired sales and engagement managers on CRM fundamentals and data hygiene.
Work with Business Insights & Analytics, Finance, the Deal Team and account leads to turn business needs into designs that feed reporting and forecasting owned by other teams.
Requirements
U.S. citizenship is required.
A bachelor's degree in business, information systems, computer science, data science or a related field, or 3, 5 years of equivalent hands-on experience.
3, 5 years building on and administering Salesforce in a fast-paced B2B SaaS or technology setting, including hands-on configuration, integration work and ownership of a live production org.
Strong hands-on command of declarative build: Flows, validation rules, the security and sharing model, page layouts and approval processes, plus data-model design with objects, relationships, record types and hierarchies.
Proven experience connecting Salesforce to other platforms through native connectors, iPaaS middleware or REST/SOAP APIs, and replacing manual work with automated workflows.
Able to read, debug and write light Apex, SOQL and Lightning Web Components when declarative tools fall short.
Meticulous with detail, with a record of turning messy CRM data into a clean, governed system of record.
Strong verbal and written communication. You can turn business requirements into technical designs and explain trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
Desired: Salesforce Certified Administrator. Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder is a plus.
Desired: Familiarity with CPQ, Revenue Lifecycle Management (RLM), quote-price-configure, or booking and order management.
Desired: Deeper programmatic experience with complex Apex, LWC or custom API services.
Desired: Experience with Salesforce, Planhat or another CSP, iPaaS or middleware, deployment tooling and Slack.
Desired: Hands-on use of AI tools to automate workflows, and experience with Confluence or Google Drive.
Desired: Interest in Revenue Operations, business-process optimization and national security or defense acquisition.
Desired: An active U.S. security clearance, or the ability to obtain one with the company's sponsorship.
