Project Manager

Description

The company is hiring a Project Manager for a mission-critical biometric sustainment and modernization contract. The role is the one person accountable for cost, schedule, performance, staffing, risk, option task coordination, transition discipline, and dealings with the Government.

You will lead a multi-disciplinary team supporting DoW operations, secure cloud hosting, cybersecurity compliance, mission application sustainment, and controlled modernization.

All hired employees are expected to have experience with Microsoft Copilot or an approved equivalent AI solution.

Responsibilities

• Run the full contract, spanning operations, engineering, cloud, cybersecurity, logistics, sustainment, modernization, and option tasks.
• Act as the main contact for the Government on performance reviews, escalated issues, staffing status, risk decisions, and mission priorities.
• Keep integrated processes running for cost, schedule, staffing, risk, quality, and performance.
• Plan the transition, capture knowledge, and manage readiness gates.
• Coordinate subcontractors, check deliverable quality, drive corrective actions, and report on performance.
• Keep operational continuity, cybersecurity posture, modernization delivery, and customer communications in step with each other.

Requirements

• Hold a bachelor's degree in business, information technology, engineering, management, or a related field.
• Have at least 8 years of experience managing complex DoD, Army, IC, or federal technology programs.
• Have at least 3 years of experience with biometric comparisons, biometric management, or biometric matching algorithms.
• Have led multi-functional teams on enterprise systems, cloud operations, cybersecurity, software sustainment, or mission applications.
• Have a proven record in Government contract execution, performance reporting, staffing, risk management, and customer engagement.
• Communicate well in writing and speaking, including briefing Government stakeholders.
• Have experience with identity intelligence systems and 24/7/365 mission operations.
• Hold a DoD 8570/8140-aligned certification.
• Hold an active Secret-level clearance.
• Desired: a PMP certification, which is strongly preferred.
• Desired: experience with AWS cloud operations and with data transfers across multiple domains.

Conditions

This is a pending-award position. It depends on contract award, customer approval, funding availability, and completion of the company's recruiting, security, and onboarding steps.

The posted salary range is $150,000 to $180,000 USD. It is a good-faith estimate, and final pay depends on the selected candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and other job-related factors.
