Project Manager

Description

The company provides SaaS products to healthcare organizations, and this role takes enterprise healthcare customers from post-sale to launch across one or more of those products.

You will handle technical setup and configuration, and own the overall project plan for each onboarding.

The work also covers migrations to and from the company platform, including those triggered by acquisitions, and special internal projects. You may help with internal work from time to time.

The company's stated aim is to help healthcare organizations improve their clinical and financial outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer migrations and implementations of several company solutions on the platform.
• Direct internal teams, including technical, clinical, change management and account management, toward project goals.
• Build detailed project plans that cover scope, milestones, dependencies, timelines and fallback options.
• Use project tools and methods to deliver on time and keep communication clear with customers and colleagues.
• Spot risks and issues early and work with internal teams to resolve them.
• Run project reviews, report status, and keep work on schedule, in scope and within budget.
• Build trust and working relationships with customers.
• Apply current best-practice implementation guides and toolkits.
• Configure contracted products and solutions to each customer's specifications.
• Give technical support through the migration or implementation as needed.
• Deliver platform training to internal and external audiences in a range of formats.
• Help the department manager assign projects and mentor team members.
• Write and maintain process documentation.
• Keep the department SharePoint site current.
• Act as liaison to other departments when assigned.
• Support sales with product demonstrations and customer calls.
• Help prepare responses to RFPs.
• Carry out other tasks you are given.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5 years of project management on enterprise-level customer projects.
• 5 years of implementing SaaS-based products and solutions.
• Hands-on experience with project management tools, methods and software.
• Skill in building and sustaining client relationships aimed at shared success.
• Skill in grasping a client's needs and challenges, judging whether the solution fits, and laying groundwork for a lasting partnership.
• Ability to work well and cooperatively with others toward shared goals, engaging and communicating with individuals and groups in an inclusive way.
• Ability to implement, integrate and improve artificial intelligence tools within business processes.
• Ability to frame problems, gather relevant information, find root causes and resolve complex situations.
• Nice to have: PMP certification, or working towards it.
• Nice to have: experience in a healthcare setting or onboarding healthcare customers.
• Nice to have: working knowledge of common application integrations such as text file, SSO and API/web services.

Conditions

Hybrid role: you must live in North Carolina within a commutable distance of the Morrisville, NC headquarters, about a 1-hour commute.

Expected to work in the Morrisville, NC headquarters 30/40 days per quarter.
