Project Engineer, Spare Parts Packages

Description

This Project Engineer role covers Spare Parts Packages and the global process behind them, based at the company's global headquarters in Karlstad.

You will run Spare Parts Packages for Tissue projects and help make the global process more standardized, efficient and digital.

The work sits between project delivery and process development, alongside Sales, Engineering, Project Management, Sourcing and Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Run each assigned Spare Parts Package from quote to delivery, keeping it on schedule, meeting customer expectations and hitting commercial targets.
• Own the financials of those packages, including turnover, profitability and overall performance.
• Drive the ongoing development and standardization of the global Spare Parts Package process so ways of working stay consistent and efficient across the company.
• Spot process improvements and turn them into workable fixes that raise efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction.
• Work with Sales, Engineering, Project Management, Sourcing, Supply Chain and global stakeholders to improve information flow, introduce digital solutions and push operational excellence.

Requirements

• Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Have at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with international, multicultural teams.
• Build good working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Advantage: experience with ERP systems, digital tools or process automation.
• Advantage: knowledge of Lean, continuous improvement or operational excellence practices.
• Bring a process improvement mindset, cross-functional project management skills, and an analytical, commercial approach.
• Stay comfortable with many stakeholders, move projects forward, and use data and business insight to decide while balancing customer needs against profitability.
• Turn ideas into practical solutions that deliver measurable results.
• Align with the company's leadership principles: take accountability by owning your work and following through, lead with courage by championing change, build trust by listening and staying open, and collaborate for growth across boundaries.

The role is based in Karlstad at the global headquarters.
