Description

For over 150 years, our dedication to being the Global Hausbank for our clients has been driven by our people – in around 60 countries and across more than 150 nationalities.

Their deep understanding, insights, expertise, and passion help our clients navigate an increasingly complex world – be it in our Corporate Bank, our Private Bank, our Investment Bank or our Asset Management division.

Together we can make a great impact for our clients home and abroad, securing their lasting success and financial security.

DB Private Bank serves private and commercial clients through an integrated banking proposition spanning everyday banking, lending, investments and wealth-related services. Within this environment, PB Transformation Italy supports the delivery of strategic, regulatory and operational change across the Italian franchise, working in close partnership with Business, Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance and central or global functions.

The role sits within a highly interconnected transformation landscape covering strategic change, business and operating-model evolution, product development, regulatory implementation and data transformation. The portfolio may include initiatives with local and international stakeholders, multiple delivery teams, complex governance, regulatory constraints and significant cross-domain impacts. The successful candidate will therefore combine disciplined project and program management with the ability to navigate business, product, regulatory, data, process and technology topics end to end.

The Project / Program Manager will lead and coordinate a broad portfolio of strategic and cross-domain transformation initiatives for PB Transformation Italy. The remit includes business transformation, product-related change, regulatory and mandatory programs, data initiatives and other priorities requiring orchestration across multiple functions. The role ensures that scope, outcomes, timelines, dependencies, risks and financials are managed effectively with regular and appropriate reporting to senior management.

The role is expected to create alignment across business and infrastructure functions, understand business needs, define the possible solutions and translate it into executable delivery plans, providing senior stakeholders with clear decision support. As a Vice President, the role holder will operate with a high degree of autonomy, ownership, while actively contributing to portfolio priorities, delivery standards and the broader transformation agenda.

Responsabilities

Own projects and programs from initiation to stabilization, defining scope, milestones, deliverables, acceptance criteria and measurable outcomes. Translate business needs into traceable requirements and integrated plans; manage critical paths, dependencies, releases, testing, user acceptance, training, implementation readiness, transition and post-implementation review, ensuring controls and benefit realization.

Translate Private Bank strategy into change across Italy, covering operating models, capabilities, client and advisor journeys and efficiency. Coordinate the design, enhancement and implementation of banking, investment, lending and wealth-management products and propositions, aligning business and infrastructure stakeholders.

Lead regulatory, compliance and mandatory initiatives from impact assessment to implementation, ensuring requirements interpretation and traceability, timely decisions, control readiness and delivery evidence. Drive data quality, governance, ownership, controls, remediation, migration, reporting and analytics initiatives, aligning business and technical requirements.

Coordinate Business, Product, Technology, control functions and other stakeholders, clarifying accountabilities and resolving interface gaps. Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, owners, experts, teams and external partners; reconcile priorities and provide transparent reporting and decision papers to senior management, steering committees and portfolio forums.

Identify and mitigate delivery risks and issues, define recovery actions, escalate material concerns and drive decisions to closure. Contribute to budgets, forecasts, resource planning, sourcing and vendor oversight, monitoring capacity and financial performance. Strengthen delivery practices, reuse standards and lessons learned, and foster a collaborative, accountable, outcome-oriented culture.
