Program Manager

Description

The company's SIX business, which covers secure communications and information systems, provides sovereign, secure capabilities to the Australian Defence Force.

You will be based in Canberra, on Ngunnawal Country, leading a program that delivers sovereign cloud and digital infrastructure for key Defence outcomes.

The company works across manufacturing, engineering, cybersecurity and space, and relies on talented people to build systems that communities use every day.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery and growth of ICT programs that support critical Defence outcomes.
• Manage program performance across safety, quality, schedule, cost, risk and customer satisfaction.
• Build trusted relationships with Defence customers and key stakeholders, acting as a strategic delivery partner.
• Lead and grow a high-performing, multidisciplinary workforce working in a complex matrix.
• Ensure strong governance, commercial performance and contract compliance across the full program lifecycle.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading cloud, infrastructure or technology programs in Defence, government or similarly complex settings.
• Strong understanding of cloud and digital infrastructure.
• Strong commercial skills, including managing contracts, budgets, forecasting, risk and program performance.
• Understanding of Defence governance frameworks, ASDEFCON and Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, technology or a related discipline.

Conditions

A NV1 Defence security clearance is required. You must be an Australian citizen and eligible to obtain and keep an appropriate clearance.
