Description

The company builds defense products on Coherent Distributed Networks (CDN), used by warfighters, air operators in commercial aviation, and border protection staff.

Founded in 2022, the company has raised $1 billion from investors including 8VC, Accel, and Valor Equity Partners. It is headquartered in Los Angeles with offices in Washington, D.C., San Francisco, San Diego, and London, and has 500+ employees across 5 global offices.

You will build and roll out automated test systems for RF and radar electronics, covering both development validation and production testing. You will own the automation design for hardware control, test sequencing, and data acquisition, and help make lab and production test setups more reliable, repeatable, and scalable. You will also connect software, hardware, and networks so engineering validation and program execution run smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Build and run automated test solutions for RF and radar systems.
  • Write and maintain Python automation that controls hardware, sequences tests, and collects data.
  • Script workstation provisioning and configuration on Ubuntu/Linux using Ansible.
  • Configure and debug networks, including static IPs, VLANs, and interface diagnostics.
  • Find and fix faults in scripts, lab systems, and networked test environments.
  • Analyze and chart test data to support engineering validation and program deliverables.
  • Work with other engineering teams to make test systems more reliable, repeatable, and efficient.
  • Write up test procedures, automation workflows, and troubleshooting steps.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3, 6 years in test automation, hardware validation, or a related engineering role.
  • Proficient in Python for test automation, including virtual environments and automated hardware test development.
  • Working knowledge of Ubuntu/Linux: command line, log analysis, NIC identification, and system configuration.
  • Experience with Ansible or similar tools for OS installation and workstation setup.
  • Networking fundamentals: static IP configuration, VLANs, and basic network troubleshooting.
  • Ability to independently debug and resolve integration issues across hardware, software, and networks.
  • Preferred: experience with RF, radar, or high-frequency electronics systems.
  • Preferred: familiarity with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and network analyzers.
  • Preferred: experience supporting defense or aerospace programs.
  • Preferred: experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as NumPy, pandas, Matplotlib, Plotly, and tkinter.
