The job covers security assessments, risk handling, vulnerability work, and the required cybersecurity paperwork. You will also help build security practices and artifacts that teams can reuse across AI/ML products and software components.

Responsibilities

  • Make sure the required cybersecurity documents and records exist and stay current across each product's full lifecycle.
  • Lead vulnerability management, plus SBOM and third-party software security, including assessing and recording identified risks.
  • Keep product security information current in eSG and share relevant details with program teams.
  • Create cybersecurity practices and artifacts that can be reused across AI COE software and AI/ML releases.
  • Own PSR duties clearly across AI COE programs and carry them out.
  • Catch cybersecurity risks early and resolve them with engineering and Product Security.
  • Build repeatable security processes and reusable artifacts for AI COE products.
  • Develop strong working relationships with engineering, ML, quality, regulatory, architecture, and Product Security.
  • Help the AI COE scale development while keeping cybersecurity work disciplined, traceable, and compliant.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, cybersecurity, electrical or biomedical engineering, or another related technical field.
  • 4+ years of experience in product cybersecurity, software engineering, systems engineering, or cybersecurity engineering.
  • Working knowledge of software security, vulnerability management, threat modeling, cybersecurity risk assessment, and security requirements.
  • Ability to read software architectures, interfaces, dependencies, and data flows from a security standpoint.
  • Clear technical communication, both written and spoken, plus documentation, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred: experience with medical devices, healthcare products, or another regulated industry.
  • Preferred: knowledge of QMS, design controls, software lifecycle processes, and medical-device cybersecurity requirements.
  • Preferred: experience with SBOMs, third-party and open-source software, vulnerability assessment, and cybersecurity documentation.
  • Preferred: experience with AI/ML products and their cybersecurity considerations.
  • Preferred: prior work as a Product Security Representative or with the company's Product Security processes.
