Description

The company makes medical technology for diagnosing and managing coronary artery disease, the leading cause of death worldwide. Its AI-based, non-invasive cardiac test, backed by ACC/AHA chest pain guidelines, produces a color-coded 3D model of a patient's coronary arteries showing how blockages affect blood flow to the heart.

The platform covers the full CCTA pathway: finding narrowed arteries, assessing coronary blood flow, and characterizing and measuring atherosclerosis. The company is publicly traded, is cleared for use in the US, UK, Europe, Japan and Canada, is supported by medical societies worldwide, and has been used on more than 750,000 patients.

This is a product management role for a recent MBA graduate. You will own a customer-facing part of the platform and how it fits into the workflows, systems and business of hospitals, imaging centers and physicians. You will work alongside senior product leaders, combining customer insight, business judgment and technical curiosity. Success means customers adopt, rely on and recommend the products.

Responsibilities

  • Visit sites to watch cardiologists, radiologists, CT technologists and administrators run CCTA programs from referral through scanning, reading, reporting and follow-up, then turn what you see into clear problem statements.
  • Define how the platform connects to customers' clinical and IT systems, such as EMR, PACS and reporting tools, and work with engineering to build integrations that make life easier for sites and clinicians.
  • Write user needs, use cases and functional requirements, work with UX and Product Design on workflows and wireframes, and lead design reviews until features are verifiable and ready to ship.
  • Build business cases covering market size, customer value, adoption, reimbursement and revenue, and use them to set roadmap priorities with leadership and stakeholders.
  • Work with engineering through implementation, make scope and timing trade-offs, review prototypes and builds, and rank defects by their effect on customers and patients.
  • Work with Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success and Professional Education on launch readiness, positioning, training and onboarding. Track usage after release and feed what you learn into the roadmap.
  • With Quality and Regulatory, keep requirements traceable and design history audit-ready under design controls. Assess every change for user error, patient safety, privacy and security.
  • Give leadership and cross-functional partners clear, data-backed updates on progress, customer feedback and risk.

Requirements

  • Frame unclear problems, size opportunities and defend a recommendation with data and clear reasoning.
  • Stay close to customers: understand how clinicians and hospital teams work, and base decisions on what you observe, not only on what people tell you.
  • Discuss system design, data flows and cloud software with engineers, and be willing to learn HL7, FHIR and DICOM.
  • Show genuine interest in healthcare, medical devices or digital health. Familiarity with cardiology, medical imaging or reimbursement is a plus.
  • Write and speak clearly and concisely for clinical, technical and executive audiences.
  • Align cross-functional teams around a shared goal without formal authority.
  • Have a strong sense of workflow and usability, especially where the product's output informs clinical decisions.
  • Take initiative and adapt when priorities and constraints shift in a regulated environment.
  • Have completed your MBA, or finish it before the start date.
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, life sciences or a related technical or scientific field is strongly preferred.
  • Have 5 to 7 years of professional experience before or during your MBA, such as in product management, engineering, consulting, healthcare, medical devices or health technology.
  • A product management internship, or experience with FDA-regulated software or Software as a Medical Device (SaMD), is a plus.

Conditions

Travel to customer sites is approximately 20%.

The role is on site in San Francisco, CA or Rohnert Park, CA.
