Description

The company is an AI platform for market intelligence and workflow automation, used by thousands of organizations to make quicker, more assured business and finance decisions.

Its content library holds more than 500 million premium business documents, including equity research, earnings calls, expert interviews, filings, news and internal proprietary material. Its AI tools include Generative Search, Generative Grid and Deep Research.

The Content group finds, creates or licenses top-tier structured and unstructured content and brings it into the platform. It reports to the Chief Content Officer, covers strategy, product, content management, collection operations and support for each content area, and is growing quickly across every content set. Partnerships with internal stakeholders and external vendors rest on transparency, trust and accountability.

This is a Product Manager role for new content evaluation and analysis, focused on widening and improving the breadth, quality and value of the data behind the platform. The ideal candidate knows capital markets and investment research well and has substantial experience assessing and bringing in financial research content and AI-driven investment analysis workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Spot content gaps and assess outside quantitative and qualitative datasets, such as market data, fundamentals, estimates, ESG, news, research, transcripts, regulatory filings and alternative data, for platform fit. Work with partnership management and content leads on data quality, methodology, licensing terms and integration feasibility.
  • Run vendor evaluations yourself or lead a due diligence analyst team through data trials and proofs of concept. Own the framework for checking coverage, timeliness, accuracy and history.
  • Build organization-wide business cases for new datasets, covering value, cost, build versus buy, and strategic fit.
  • Develop deep expertise in how content is used, and find new openings for differentiation through market research and competitor analysis.
  • Pinpoint high-impact AI features and datasets, then decide whether to license from a vendor or source in-house to bring new content into the platform and agentic workflows.
  • Monitor industry trends, competing platforms, products and content to inform competitive intelligence and the product and content roadmap. Keep up with a fast-changing competitive landscape, client expectations and advances in LLMs and AI workflows.

Requirements

  • Real enthusiasm for corporate finance, capital markets and investment research, plus data management skills. Either you have worked at a buy-side or sell-side firm, or you have supported AI products, features or data used by investment and data analysis professionals.
  • Interest in where AI, data, technology and investment research meet, and a record of expert-level data analysis at scale using conventional query tools or generative AI platforms.
  • Energy for a high-paced, high-growth setting, and comfort with business priorities that change quickly.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to inform and win over executives and align with stakeholders at every level.
  • A track record of running successful due diligence or content evaluations across varied businesses and teams in several locations.
  • An empathetic communicator who listens well and spots problems that need solutions.
  • Required: at least 5 years at a leading financial institution or investment research platform, delivering or evaluating content, features, analytics and models for front-office investment professionals.
  • Required: solid command of current market data and investment research databases, products and workflow tools, such as fundamentals, estimates, transaction data, ownership data, market data, news and transcripts.
  • Required: understanding of how relational and JSON databases are structured. Hands-on experience running complex queries and analyses with conventional query languages or generative AI techniques. Hands-on familiarity with Claude Code or a similar platform is a must.
  • Required: ability to work with cross-functional product development or evaluation teams of engineers, content leads and vendor management professionals.
  • Required: a proven record of delivering with a globally distributed team. Prior formal or informal team leadership experience is strongly preferred.
  • Required: ability to set priorities, stay focused and meet or beat deadlines.
  • Required: a BSc or a substantial academic background in a quantitative analysis field.
  • Preferred: experience in content acquisition and licensing.
  • Preferred: prior work at a market intelligence or financial research SaaS start-up.
  • Preferred: exposure to iterative or agile development methods in product development.
  • Preferred: experience working with and leading distributed teams.
