Product Manager (m/f/d) – Autonomous Asset Management | Asset Investment Planning

Description

You will work in the Industry AI unit for Energy and Natural Resources, a growing team in Munich that builds agentic AI templates and reusable components for asset-intensive industries.

The templates help customers evaluate and rank critical capital investments across the asset lifecycle, so your work will shape how large industries plan and run critical infrastructure.

You will own Asset Investment Planning templates from early discovery through ongoing improvement, working closely with a pod of engineers.

Responsibilities

• Set the vision, scope and priorities for Asset Investment Planning templates that combine agentic AI, intelligent automation and advanced optimization.
• Build working prototypes with generative AI and low-code tools to test value ideas with customers early.
• Find recurring customer problems and turn them into business workflows, decision criteria and enterprise data requirements.
• Agree measurable success criteria with customers, such as risk-adjusted portfolio value, planning effort or expected lifecycle costs.
• Use customer feedback and usage data to make the templates more reusable.
• Work with product, platform, AI and delivery teams to turn emerging AI capabilities into enterprise-ready reusable components.

Requirements

• You prototype AI solutions quickly and turn complex industry challenges into scalable, reusable products.
• You have a track record of rapid AI prototyping, shown through concrete examples, iterative testing and critical review of outputs.
• You have hands-on product management experience turning customer needs into reusable solutions, with enough technical knowledge to work well with engineers.
• You understand agentic AI, context engineering, quality assurance for AI outputs and AI-assisted automation.
• You have working knowledge of governance, security, compliance, privacy and responsible data handling.
• You bring analytical rigour, a customer focus and clear communication, with excellent English.
• Experience in asset management or asset-intensive industries is a plus.
• You think strategically, understand the business and can bring others along, combining influencing skills and emotional intelligence with confidence in solving complex problems.
• You are comfortable using AI tools, including agentic AI, in your daily work: writing effective inputs, automating routine tasks, judging AI-generated output quality and encouraging your team to adopt AI practices.
