Description

You are a product manager who builds AI prototypes quickly and turns complex asset management problems into products that scale and can be reused.

The role sits in the Industry AI unit for Energy and Natural Resources in Munich, a growing team that builds AI-powered solutions for asset-intensive industries.

The team focuses on Autonomous Asset Management, which means using AI to keep critical assets running and to optimize their upkeep.

The company has served organisations for over 50 years across finance, procurement, HR, supply chain and customer experience, and it leads in enterprise applications and business AI.

Your work will influence how large industries plan maintenance and optimize assets at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full life of Maintenance Schedule Optimization templates and reusable assets, from initial discovery through ongoing improvement.
  • Set the vision, scope and priorities for these templates, which combine agentic AI, intelligent automation and advanced optimization.
  • Build low-code and generative AI prototypes to test schedule concepts, planning scenarios and agentic workflows with customers early on.
  • Spot recurring customer problems and turn them into business workflows, decision rules and enterprise data needs.
  • Agree measurable success targets with customers, such as planning effort, schedule adherence or asset availability, and use feedback and usage data to make the templates more reusable.
  • Work with product, platform, AI and delivery colleagues to move new AI capabilities into enterprise-ready templates and reusables.

Requirements

  • Show a history of fast AI prototyping, with concrete examples, repeated validation cycles and critical review of outputs.
  • Bring hands-on product management experience in turning customer needs into reusable solutions, with enough technical depth to work well with engineers.
  • Understand agentic AI, context engineering, quality assurance for AI outputs and AI-assisted automation.
  • Know governance, security, compliance, privacy and responsible data handling.
  • Be analytical, customer-focused and a clear communicator, with excellent English.
  • Use AI tools, including agentic ones, comfortably in daily work: writing effective inputs, automating routine tasks, judging output quality and helping teammates adopt AI.
  • Think strategically, understand the business and bring others along, using influence and emotional intelligence to work through complex problems with confidence.
  • Experience in asset management or asset-intensive industries is a plus.

Conditions

The role is based in Munich.

Comfort with AI tools, including agentic AI, is required for every position at the company.

For internal employees, only permanent roles qualify for the referral program under its policy.

The company is committed to equal employment opportunity and offers accommodations to applicants with physical or mental disabilities.

Any breach of the company's guidelines on ethical AI use in recruiting may lead to disqualification from the hiring process.

Benefits

  • Flexible working models and a focus on health and well-being.
  • Investment in employee development, with the aim of helping everyone reach their potential.
