Description

The company makes privacy management software that helps enterprises keep their data clean, permissioned and ready for AI. Its platform is used by more than 3,500 brands, from global retailers and media networks to fintechs and AI-native companies, to collect, control and activate compliant data across their systems.

Privacy rules are spreading worldwide and AI is changing how companies use data, so demand for the company's product keeps growing. The work sits where law, technology and consumer trust meet, in a field that moves quickly.

The platform helps customers manage privacy and consent, earn more from advertising, data and AI work, and build trust with customers and partners. Unlike tools limited to cookie banners, it controls how data is used across the whole stack, and no-code setup lets customers go live in weeks.

Responsibilities

  • Build solutions to data privacy and security problems for enterprise customers, designed to work at scale.
  • Own what you build, and push to make it better and easier to scale.

  • Share ownership of a high-performing, fault-tolerant, secure microservice architecture and keep improving it.
  • Learn data security and protection techniques and apply them in your work.
  • Work with stakeholders and customers to understand their use cases and deliver solutions end to end.
  • Share responsibility for the health of the SaaS production system, including quality, performance, scalability, reliability and efficiency.
  • Rethink how the team builds, deploys and runs software.
  • Follow new technologies and tools, and contribute to open source communities.

Requirements

  • Have built production systems and services in Golang, or in Java, Python or Scala.
  • Understand scalable distributed systems well.
  • Know domain-driven data modeling in depth.
  • Have built production services in a cloud-native environment on AWS, GCP or Azure, and know its strengths and limits.
  • Have worked with complexity across mobile, web and mixed environments.
  • Be strong with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, databases and storage such as Redis, Cassandra, DynamoDB, ScyllaDB, Postgres or ElasticSearch, and git/GitHub.
  • Have experience instrumenting, troubleshooting and tuning performance of multi-tenant, large-scale Kubernetes deployments.
  • Care about tooling, best practices and automation that improve developer experience.
  • Communicate and collaborate well.
  • Have at least 3+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Be a technical expert who gets work done with sound judgment and the right tools for each problem, and who learns quickly alongside capable peers.
  • Have English proficiency, which is required for all roles unless the posting states otherwise.
