Description

The company is rebuilding how staffing works. Recruiting still depends largely on phone calls and judgment calls, and the company replaces much of that with AI agents that screen, interview and score candidates around the clock, in real time, at much lower cost.

Staffing agencies in the US and Europe already use the agents, and the company holds its own work to the same speed, accuracy and scale they expect. Thousands of AI screens are already running, agents place candidates within days of going live, and screening costs are down 90%.

AI use in staffing is still under 1%, and no platform leads the market yet, so the team is building one that is AI-native from the start.

The team values ownership over job titles and results over intentions, holds a high bar and gives direct, ego-free feedback, and uses the best AI tools both in the product and in how it ships. People are expected to contribute and work hard, and the role suits someone motivated by impact, speed and raising standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design and ship voice AI agents that run real-time phone interviews with latency under 300ms, using LLM orchestration, WebSockets and FastAPI.
  • Build reusable prompt and agent architecture for interviewers across several verticals, where each client can set its own screening logic, voice personality and compliance rules.
  • Convert messy voice conversations into structured, dependable candidate scores.
  • Run evals and reliability work across the live fleet of agents: find regressions and keep behavior consistent as usage grows.
  • Build the agent infrastructure that lets each client create and adjust its own screening workflows.
  • You will work across the full stack with real ownership, and your changes reach real users within the same week you ship them.

Requirements

  • You have shipped AI agents end to end, and real users have used them.
  • You are fluent with LLMs, prompting and agent orchestration, and you know where models fail and how to work around it.
  • You build with AI tools and use agentic coding as part of how you ship.
  • You are strong in Python and work comfortably across the stack without waiting for others to finish features.
  • You can work independently with no docs or playbook and still deliver under a tight client deadline.
  • You think about the product and understand why a screening flow matters to a recruiter, and you build with that in mind.
  • You have 3+ years of experience.
  • Bonus: experience with voice or speech systems, real-time streaming, eval frameworks, or staffing or recruitment work.
  • Visa sponsorship is available.
