Description

The company is the company's Data Security Product Organization, and the role is a Principal Product Manager based in the AMS region, reporting to the Sr. Director WW Field PM for AMS.

The company offers a cloud security platform, the Zero Trust Exchange, which connects users, devices and applications from any location. It runs across more than 200 public data centers worldwide and thousands of private edge sites, and it is described as the largest in-line cloud security platform in the world.

The team is building an AI-native company and says its three core behaviors are ownership and collaboration, trust through outcomes and impact, and a challenge culture with ongoing feedback.

The role focuses on growing and sustaining core revenue across the AMS region, with particular attention to AI-powered data security product lines.

You will work with Product Management and Sales leadership on field engagements and give technical and commercial support to Sales Engineers and Account Executives across the customer lifecycle.

You will bring real customer feedback from the field to help shape the platform as it addresses emerging AI and data security challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Own the sales strategy and execution for the Data Security product suite with AMS customers, and help run opportunities by showing technical strengths and business value.
  • Turn field insights into product strategy and roadmap input by leading competitive analysis, win/loss reviews, customer commitment tracking, pricing planning, and pipeline and churn analysis across the DLP, DSPM and AI portfolio.
  • Train the wider the company field team to position and sell Data Security solutions in their accounts.
  • Work with support leadership to help large customers during escalations and when deploying the company services.
  • Give Sales and Product leadership clear, data-driven updates on deal status, pipeline health, business performance and key risks so they can make decisions.

Requirements

  • Show strong ownership and a real commitment to the mission, with high integrity, moving easily between high-level strategy and hands-on work.
  • Take on problems proactively and stay focused on work that produces high-impact results.
  • Build trust through collaboration, put the team first, accept constructive feedback, and speak with clear, respectful candor.
  • Keep learning by asking for feedback and working on your development as a partner, teammate and purpose-driven leader.
  • Work well in ambiguity, shaping the path as you go and seeing changing conditions as chances to build useful solutions.
  • Have a foundational understanding of AI and ML technologies and have used AI solutions to improve results in your own area.
  • Have proven professional experience in a technical, customer-facing role, such as Sales Engineer, Solution Architect or Product Manager.
  • Have deep expertise in Data Security technologies including Cloud DLP, Inline DLP, CASB, Email and Endpoint DLP, DSPM, AISPM, SSPM and securing AI agents.
  • Have a deep understanding of SWG, ZTNA, proxies, firewalls, VPN, Secure Browser, and identity and authentication protocols such as SAML and SCIM.
  • Have subject matter expertise in deploying infrastructure in a major public cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP), and work comfortably in a fast-paced setting using modern project management tools to track engagements and activity.
  • Preferred: Have proven experience using AI technologies and workflows to produce measurable gains in operational efficiency.
  • Preferred: Have a deep technical understanding of Generative AI infrastructure and cloud security platforms, with proven experience designing, scaling or securing AI-driven data detection and automated policy generation, and handling architectural data security risks.
  • Preferred: Have a thorough grasp of core Internet and network protocols, including TCP, UDP, HTTP/S, DNS and SSL/TLS, and modern network traffic architectures.
  • Preferred: Communicate exceptionally well and bring strategic insight into how enterprise customers use digital transformation, automation and changing data integration patterns to reach measurable business outcomes.
