You will join a newly formed team at the Brno R&D center. The team is developing the next generation of fire alarm control panels and related systems.
You will work on hard embedded software problems, work with experts across the globe, and help shape life-safety systems that will be around for years.
Your work will reach products that guard people and property worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Write firmware for fire alarm control panels, detectors and notification devices
- Work with software teams, customers and technical support groups across the globe
- Take part in international projects, write technical documentation and resolve technical problems
- Lead projects, set up plans and track progress
Requirements
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
- At least 8 years of experience developing embedded software
- Strong command of C and working experience with C++
- Experience with Git version control
- Ability to work independently and manage your own tasks
- Good written and spoken English
- Experience with Python scripting
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
- Experience using AI tools to raise productivity
- Experience with unit testing
- Knowledge of the Qt framework
- Knowledge of Linux, covering application development, Yocto and device drivers
- Experience with safety-critical and security-critical software
- Hands-on work with ARM-based SoCs such as iMX.8 or MCX N
- Experience with an RTOS
