Description

The company's Classified Solutions team is hiring a principal cybersecurity analyst to support information systems across their lifecycle.

The company builds secure technology and multi-domain systems for national security missions.

The role is based on-site, full-time, at the Linthicum, MD campus.

Responsibilities

  • Run system audits and continuous monitoring across all security controls, configurations and operating processes to judge each system's security posture.
  • Assess systems and networks in your enclave, and flag where they drift from approved configurations, enclave policy or local policy.
  • Analyze whether security requirements hold, and propose extra requirements and safeguards.
  • Help put required government policy into practice, advise on tailoring processes, and take part in and record process work.
  • Set up strict program controls that reduce risk and support Assessment and Authorization (A&A) of systems, including coordination, certification testing, security documents, investigations, software and hardware checks, emerging technology research, inspections and periodic audits.
  • Support each government accrediting authority's formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E): prepare before tests, take part in them, analyze results and write the required reports.
  • Document A&A and technical or coordination work, and produce Risk Management Framework artifacts.

Requirements

  • Hold a Master's degree with 3 years of experience, a Bachelor's with 5 years, or an Associate's with 7 years. A high school diploma or equivalent with 9 years of experience may be considered in place of a finished degree.
  • Hold a current U.S. Government Top Secret clearance at minimum, with a closed investigation completed within the last 6 years, or be enrolled in the U.S. Government Continuous Evaluation (CE) Program to be considered.
  • Meet U.S. Government 8140 requirements (8750 equivalent) for an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), which is CompTIA Security+, to be considered further.
  • Preferred: a Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or a related field.
  • Preferred: ISACA CISM certification.
  • Preferred: experience in cybersecurity compliance, such as Assessment and Authorization under RMF.
  • Preferred: knowledge of security tools such as ACAS, Nessus, Splunk, Trellix and SCAP.
  • Preferred: knowledge of security frameworks and documentation such as NIST, JSIG, DAAG, SSPs, POA&Ms and SCTMs.

Conditions

Work on-site, full-time, at the Linthicum, MD campus. Virtual or telecommute work is not offered because the work is classified.

A clearance is required to start, and it must be maintained as a condition of continued employment.

The 8140 / Security+ certification must also be maintained as a condition of continued employment.

Travel is 10% of the time.

Relocation assistance may be available.
