Onboarding Project Manager

Description

The role is the first point of contact for new customers starting on the company's cloud platform, which helps electrical contractors and distributors manage purchasing and tools. You help each customer get going smoothly and with confidence, which sets up a long working relationship.

Your aim is to get customers to early results, prepare them through training and support, and then pass them to Customer Success ready to use the product well. You connect the product with how well customers actually do with it.

The company is a fast-growing business with roots in contracting and distribution. It is expanding across the US and has a growing hub in Omaha.

Responsibilities

• Guide new customers through setting up and configuring the platform so implementation finishes on time.
• Run product demos, onboarding calls and group webinars that teach best practices and show customers early wins.
• Build and keep up onboarding materials, training guides and self-serve documentation.
• Act as the customer's main contact during onboarding, answering questions, fixing setup problems and making sure they feel supported.
• Work with Sales so the handoff is smooth, and work with Customer Success to move accounts over after onboarding.
• Collect feedback from new customers and use it to improve onboarding and suggest product changes.

Requirements

• Either 2+ years of project management experience or 4+ years in customer onboarding, implementation, training or account management.
• Preferred: B2B SaaS experience.
• Preferred: experience with or working knowledge of the construction industry (electrical, mechanical or general contracting) or construction technology.
• Communicate and present well, and be comfortable leading customer sessions one-to-one or in groups.
• Strong project management and organisation skills, with the ability to manage several onboardings at once without losing detail.
• Learn new tools quickly, with good technical aptitude, and enjoy helping others get good with them.
• Work well in a team, keep the customer at the centre of your work, and care about helping people succeed.
